The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots celebrated 2,000 performances on Broadway at Saturday's matinee performance, January 20, 2018. Led by Scissor Sisters front-man Jake Shears as Charlie Price and J. Harrison Ghee as Lola, the matinee audience took part in a full-theater photograph to commemorate the show's milestone performance.

World-renowned violinist Joshua Bell and MacArthur 'Genius' winning pianist Jeremy Denk return to Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage on Wednesday, February 7 at 8:00 p.m. for Carnegie Hall's annual Isaac Stern Memorial Concert, playing music by Mozart, Schubert, Jan cek, and Richard Strauss. Longtime collaborators, the duo last performed together in recital in 2010, which The New York Times described as a passionate performance.

In late 2007, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa came together with his close friend, no wave guitar hero and Global Soul Music creator Tom s Doncker, to create an original musical masterpiece titled The Mercy Suite. In celebration of the work's 10th Anniversary, La MaMa Experimental Theater Club will present a one-night-only presentation of The Mercy Suite at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 East 4th Street, second floor) on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 7:00pm.
