Sources have confirmed to TVLine.com that MTV is currently developing a TV series based on the horror film franchise SCREAM.

It doesn't seem like a particularly fun evening, watching the experiences of three hostages in Lebanon. But everybody involved in this production of Frank McGuinness's Someone Who'll Watch Over Me is at pains to point out that though the topic may seem dark, there are some elements of extraordinary humour.

Lifetime has green lit the two-hour original movie-backdoor pilot Sworn to Silence, starring Neve Campbell (Scream, Party of Five), it was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks.
