THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of Blue Jupiter's "A Cappella Party" on Friday, May 25 at 9:30 PM. Every month, Blue Jupiter's "A Cappella Party" features an evening of a cappella music to that features songs from pop and Broadway, to doo-wop and barbershop. The May edition of Blue Jupiter's "A Cappella Party" celebrates women in a cappella, including special guests Stilletta, Grace McLean, and Martini Glass.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Nellie McKaywill make her Feinstein's at the Nikko debut on Friday, June 1 at 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of her 7th album, "Sister Orchid." Conjuring the image of a lonely all-night truck stop along Highway 1 on the California coast, all but lost in the fog that comes creeping along the shoreline, "Sister Orchid" speaks of the night, the outsider, the plaintive wail of those lost at sea. "Sister Orchid" was conceived in solitude, executed in darkness.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Artistic Advisor at Large Renee Fleming today announce the schedule of performances for the 2018-2019 Renee Fleming VOICES series, marking its third season celebrating the power of the voice across a wide range of genres.

New York-based artist Timothy Dark has announced his forthcoming EP 'Dark Day Afternoon', which is slated for release on March 30. This five-track offering is preceded by the release's lead single 'She Put a Spell on Me'. The EP was co-produced by Robb Torres and Timothy Dark for Darkseed Entertainment at Quartier General Studios in Los Angeles.

For more than thirty years, Turtle Island Quartet has reinvented the role of the modern string quartet through its Grammy-winning albums and arrangements. This spring, the Quartet honors the impact of legendary saxophonist Charlie Parker with a new album, Bird's Eye View, out February 9, 2018 from Azica. The Quartet will celebrate with a CD release concert at Buck's County Playhouse (70 S. Main Street, New Hope PA 18938) on February 10, 2018 at 8 pm. The genius of Parker's improvisations almost single-handedly catapulted jazz from pop style into art music, indelibly altering the musical landscape of America. FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents: Daryl Glenn and Nellie McKay singing RobertAltman's Popeye.  Together at last, Daryl ('Daryl Glenn & Jo Lynn Burks sing Robert Altman's Nashville',  'Darylsings Steve: Songs by Sondheim') and Nellie (The Threepenny Opera on Broadway, 'A Girl Named Bill: The Life andTimes of Billy Tipton') perform the songs from Robert Altman's notorious 1980 movie musical Popeye. The quirky yet glorious score is by legendary singer/songwriter Harry Nilsson ('Everybody's Talkin') and features the beloved tune,'He Needs Me'.  With musical directors Karen Dryer, Ben McNaboe and very special guest stars Jay Rogers and Lennie Watts it's a fun-filled, joyous evening not to be missed.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) will present Tony nominee SHARON McNIGHT and RUBY RIMS with its 2018 Lifetime Achievement Awards at the 32nd Annual MAC Awards to be held Tuesday, March 27 at 7:00 pm at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City.
