A staged reading of Jean Genet's THE SCREENS will be held on Monday March 26, 7:30pm at the Red Bull Theater. Directed by Tracy Cameron Francis and translated by Paul Schmidt, it is an epic exploration of the Algerian Arab revolt against their French colonizers which exalts the individual and relishes the theatrical.

Dream Acts, written collectively by Mia Chung, Jessica Litwak, Chiori Miyagawa, Saviana Stanescu and Andrea Thome, and directed by Kristin Horton, performed by Neimah Djourabchi, Anna Kull, Rey Lucas, Rory Lipede, Tiffany Villarin, with consulting dramaturgy by Suzy Fay, premiered at HERE, with performances through March 25 at 7pm. Re/Union Company and Immigrant Artists and Scholars in New York (IASNY) present the panel, DREAM ACTS: The Role of Theatre in Social Change, on March 25 at 5pm.

The Public Theater will host the American Indian Artists Inc. (AMERINDA) production of THIEVES, written by William S. YellowRobe, Jr. (Assiniboine) and directed by AMERINDA Theater Artistic Director Steve Elm (Oneida). Making its world premiere, THIEVES will run at The Public Theater from Wednesday, August 3 through Sunday, August 14. All tickets for this AMERINDA production are $15.
