The New York Philharmonic is presenting Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking Company, with an all-star cast led by Neil Patrick Harris (Robert). The concert production played its first show last night and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the starry arrivals! The award-winning musical is being produced and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and co-produced last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and is being conducted by Sondheim specialist Paul Gemignani, with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by Jonathan Tunick. The concert runs through April 9, 2011.

The award-winning musical will be produced and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and co-produced last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and will be conducted by Sondheim specialist Paul Gemignani, with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by Jonathan Tunick. It was revealed earlier today that the production is being filmed as well for a release in movie theaters this summer.

Sixteen (16) performances of the fan driven adaptation will be held at the 10th Avenue Theatre at 930 10th Avenue in Downtown San Diego, Ca 92101 from July 16th - 30th, 2011 to coincide with the 2011 annual International Comic Book Convention

This spring, the acclaimed literary series Selected Shorts: A Celebration of the Short Story returns to the Getty Center from March 26-27, 2011 with an unforgettable lineup of stories. Produced by New York's Symphony Space, this year's series, Delicious Fictions, features three performances by Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek), Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Denis O'Hare (True Blood), Christina Pickles (Friends), Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), and other top actors reading luscious tales of food and passions, politics, mystery, and deep sea adventure. After each matinee performance and 45 minutes before Saturday's evening program, a perfectly paired wine and a scrumptious treat inspired by the series will be served.

The Ojai Playwrights Conference launches its 14th season with its annual Benefit Gala themed 'Substance of Desire' - a celebration of love, lust and laughter in the plays of Jon Robin Baitz. Scheduled for Saturday, March 26, 2011, the Benefit begins at 5:30 pm at Matilija Auditorium with a dramatic event created especially for this evening.
