NEWSIES, opens for previews tonight at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st St) for a strictly limited 101 performance run following its critically-hailed stint at Paper Mill Playhouse last fall.

Jeremy Jordan, who stars as Jack Kelly in Newsies on Broadway, sat down with the co-hosts of the ABC daytime television program 'The View' yesterday, March 13th. This marked Jordan's second appearance on 'The View;' he and the cast of Newsies debuted two songs from the show while it was at Paper Mill Playhouse, an appearance that was instrumental in the show's eventual Broadway transfer. The new Broadway musical, COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony® Award-winner Twyla Tharp and by special arrangement with the Frank Sinatra Family and Frank Sinatra Enterprises, will perform at the Hobby Center for one week only, April 10-15.

The national tour of the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Cleveland premiere April 10 - 22, 2012 as part of the KeyBank Broadway Series at PlayhouseSquare.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle's 43rd Annual Awards Show will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 at A Noise Within in Pasadena. The show will feature performances from previously-announced hosts Jason Graae (recipient of the 2007 Joel Hirschhorn Award for outstanding achievement in musical theatre) and Lesli Margherita (nominee for Kiss Me, Kate). In addition, the Awards show will feature the Los Angeles premiere performance of My Husband, by Paul Rudnick, a short play added to the New York production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. On Thursday, March 8 at 11:15am, Silicon Valley Native, Julia Louise Hosack will make an appearance and will do a special performance of the title song from Disney's Beauty and the Beast at The Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose.
