The Fabulous Fox Theatre is delighted to announce that the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE COLOR PURPLE, will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre from Tuesday, March 20 through Sunday, April 1.

Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, announced today the six productions that will comprise the lineup for its 10th anniversary season - ON YOUR FEET! (October 9-14, 2018), based on the story and music of 26-time Grammy Award-winning icons Emilio and Gloria Estefan; the 10-time Tony Award-nominated hilarious new musical smash SOMETHING ROTTEN! (January 29-February 3, 2019); Andrew Lloyd Webber's beloved iconic musical CATS (February 19-24, 2019); the hit Broadway musical DISNEY'S ALADDIN (April 10-21, 2019); the stunning new production of the acclaimed Tony Award-winning musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (May 21-26, 2019); and the brand-new Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway and West End smash hit SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL (June 4-9, 2019). Two season add-on productions will be announced at a later date.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents the second workshop in the series How to Wrote a Musical That Works, Conflict & Obstacles, onSunday, February 25, 2018 from 10am - 6pm at NOLA Rehearsal Studio, 244 W 54th St., 5th floor, Studio 5. Submission fee is $10 for members, $20 for non-members. If accepted, it will be applied to a participation fee of $100 ($80 for TRU members). Those not selected will be invited and encouraged to attend the workshop as observers. The price is $55 ($35 for TRU members). Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. As previously reported, Lauren Ambrose will be playing as Eliza Doolittle and Harry Hadden-Paton will play Henry Higgins, alongside Norbert Leo Butz as Alfred P. Doolittle and Diana Rigg as Mrs. Higgins. Just announced are: Allan Corduner as Colonel Pickering, Jordan Donica as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Linda Mugleston as Mrs. Pearce, and Manu Narayan as Zoltan Karpathy.

The Menier Chocolate Factory, in association with Darren Bagert, today announces that Samuel Barnett (Molina) and Declan Bennett (Valentin) join the company of their new production of Manuel Puig's ground-breaking novel Kiss of the Spider Woman in a new adaptation by Jose Rivera and Allan Baker. Laurie Sansom directs this iconic play, making his Menier debut. The production opens on 21 March, with previews from 8 March, and runs until 5 May.

The Actors Fund announced today that The Band's Visit has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

This April, three-time Tony Award winning composer, conductor and pianist Jason Robert Brown is coming to London for one night only for a special concert with the 60-piece BBC Concert Orchestra.
