Written by John Van Druten, the play served as the inspiration for the hit television series Betwitched and was also a 1958 film starring Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart.

Ruben Studdard's soulful 'Love IS,' his fourth album and first release since 2006, is out tomorrow, May 19 on Hickory Records / 19 Recordings. Entertainment Weekly says Studdard is in 'fine voice' with 'a romance-themed mix of crafty originals and sturdy covers.'

Nine Winners Of 57th Annual BMI Student Composer Awards Announced

Nine young classical composers, ranging in age from 17 to 26, have been named winners in the 57th Annual BMI Student Composer Awards. Newly appointed Awards Chair Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, BMI President & CEO Del Bryant and BMI Foundation President Ralph N. Jackson announced the decisions of the jury and presented the awards at a reception held May 15 at the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel in New York City.

Blank Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival Chooses 12 Winning Plays, Begins 6/4

The Blank Theatre Company's 17th Annual Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival has chosen 12 winning plays by teenaged playwrights, aged 15 -19 from 7 different states.
