The popularity of Jerry Herman's hit Broadway shows, along with the availability of a fabulous professional cast to perform his work, helped The Winter Park Playhouse decide to run Showtune! A Celebration of the Words and Music of Jerry Herman this spring, March 18 - April 23.

The MFA Musical Theatre Program at San Diego State University is once again teaming up with La Jolla Playhouse to develop a new musical, following up on their collaboration on the reading of BD Wong's new musical MR. DOCTOR last February. This year, after a competitive selection process, the musical ON THE EVE has been chosen for a public staged reading at SDSU on November 19, 2015 at 6:30pm in the Experimental Theatre.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2015-2016 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the fascinating life story of America's most famous sex therapist, BECOMING DR. RUTH. Directed by Jere Lee Hodgin and starring Jane Ridley, the production begins with previews on November 17th, opens November 19th and continues through December 27th.
