David Josefsberg, Michael Kostroff and Ashley Spencer to Lead THE PRODUCERS at Paper Mill; Cast Announced!

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has just announced complete casting for Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.

The Winter Park Playhouse Announces Its Inaugural Festival Of New Musicals

The Winter Park Playhouse jumps into the national spotlight as it prepares to launch the first annual Florida Festival of New Musicals, a nationally-recognized festival new to the state and nation. The Festival is being created to advance and elevate the original American art form of Musical Theater by fostering the development of new musicals and the artistic growth of writers and composers. The date is set for August of 2017.

New York Theatre Barn Names Denise Wyse Managing Director

New York Theatre Barn, which incubates, develops, and produces new musicals that tell untold stories, today announced the appointment of Denise Wyse as Managing Director.  In this role, Wyse will work closely with Joe Barros, artistic director, and the Board of Directors.  She will oversee the daily work of the New York Theatre Barn and implement initiatives to help grow and fulfill the organization's mission.
