According to The Hollywood Reporter, Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Lars von Trier's pornographic drama NYMPHOMANIAC. The actress joins previously announced cast members Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Stacy Martin, Connie Nielsen and Christian Slater in the film.

Anyone who follows the theater scene in New York realizes that hardly a year goes by when actor Darren Pettie isn't appearing on Broadway, Off Broadway or regional theater. "Thanks," responds the actor via telephone. "There were some nights that I was very self conscious about that line."

Grace, the acclaimed dark comedy written by award-winning writer Craig Wright (Mistakes Were Made, Recent Tragic Events, "Six Feet Under") and directed by Dexter Bullard (Tracy Letts' BUG), today announced a series of special events throughout the month of October in support of the the show's Broadway premiere.

A favorite among audiences and critics alike, Tony Award-winning Broadway star Victoria Clark brings her one-woman show to Indianapolis. The show will feature standards from the Great American Songbook alongside material from lesser-known composers and music from her Broadway career (The Light in the Piazza, The Grapes of Wrath, Sister Act: The Musical, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Cabaret, Urinetown, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Bye Bye Birdie, Grand Night for Singing). John Douglas Thompson will make his Long Wharf Theatre debut in Satchmo at the Waldorf, by Terry Teachout, directed by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres brings its audiences a fresh rendition of a musical classic never before seen on the Main Stage with BYE BYE BIRDIE. This all-American musical will light up the stage with preview performances from tonight, October 5 through 18. Official grand opening festivities take place on October 19. The production is slated to run through March 30, 2013.
