Photo Flash: Remembering Anne Meara

As BroadwayWorld reported over the weekend, Anne Meara passed away on Saturday. She was 85. Meara appeared in five Broadway shows and was Tony-nominated for her performance as Marthy Owen in ANNA CHRISTIE in 1992, opposite Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Ryan Murphy, has just announced the return to Broadway of Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange, Golden Globe winner and Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne, and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. in Long Day's Journey Into Night by Eugene O'Neill, directed by Jonathan Kent as part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th anniversary season.

CABARET National Tour Will Launch from Providence in 2016; Full Schedule Announced!

The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.

CABARET Enters Final Two Weeks of Performances on Broadway

Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony-winning musical production of Cabaret starring Alan Cumming and Sienna Miller, will conclude its acclaimed run on March 29, 2015. Directed by Sam Mendes and co-directed/choreographed by Rob Marshall.

Sienna Miller Talks Singing 'Sally Bowles' in CABARET!

Beginning February 17, Sienna Miller ('American Sniper,' After Miss Julie) will take over the role of 'Sally Bowles' opposite Alan Cumming in Broadway's Cabaret at Studio 54. In a recent interview with Vulture, Miller commented on her own vocal chops: "Recreationally, yeah. I sing all the time in the car, in the house, and I was in the choir at school. And a lot of karaoke. They would say I was prolific in the karaoke department. But that's a whole different thing."

Emma Stone Enters Final Week of Performances in CABARET on Broadway

Emma Stone will play only eight more performances of "Sally Bowles" in Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) CABARET. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Sienna Miller ("American Sniper", After Miss Julie) will join the cast of CABARET starring opposite Alan Cumming beginning February 17, 2015. Miller will take over for current star Emma Stone, whose final performance is February 15, and play "Sally Bowles" for the final six weeks of the limited engagement through March 29, 2015.

Breaking CABARET News! Emma Stone Extends Thru Mid-February & Revival Sets March Closing; New Sally to Come

Roundabout has just announced that Emma Stone has extended her acclaimed run as "Sally Bowles" opposite her fellow 2015 Golden Globe nominee Alan Cumming as "Emcee" until February 15, 2015. Cumming will star in the show for the final 12 weeks of the limited engagement. CABARET opened on Broadway on April 24, 2014 and the engagement has been extended twice through March 29, 2015. Casting for a new "Sally Bowles" will be announced shortly.
