The Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, will be broadcast in a live, three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 8, 2014. SISTER ACT, the family friendly, over the top spectacle with nuns that rock, opens at the Hippodrome Theatre on June 4 through June 15, 2014

David Hunter and Jill Winternitz have joined the Olivier award-winning production of Once as Guy and Girl respectively. Hunter, who originally joined the show in July last year understudying the role of Guy, and Winternitz had their first performance together on 12 May 2014. In April this year, Once was the winner of two coveted Olivier awards - including the first ever recipient of the Olivier for Outstanding Achievement in Music. The show has also won 8 Tony awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. In addition Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Falling Slowly won the Oscar for Best Original Song. Check out a first look at the pair onstage below!

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2013-14 season in 24 categories.

Today in 2006, Tarzan opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where it ran for 486 performances. Tarzan: The Musical is based on the Disney film of the same name and the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The songs are written by Phil Collins and David Zippel, with a book by David Henry Hwang. The production was nominated for a Tony award for Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Natasha Katz). The cast Featured Josh Strickland, Jennifer Gambatese, Shuler Hensley, Merle Dandridge and Chester Gregory.

New leads announced for the Olivier-winning musical, starting from May 12th. The production is currently booking into 2015.

Sister Act, the hilarious, five-time Tony-nominated musical smash hit is coming to Minneapolis. Called "Divine!" by the Associated Press, Sister Act premieres at the Orpheum Theatre, May 27-June 1, 2014. Tickets are on sale now. Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to the State Theatre in Easton for two shows in June. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the historic theatre on Tuesday, June 3rd and Wednesday, June 4th.

Rehearsals begin today (6 May 2014) for Stephen Daldry's production of David Hare's Skylight. In a major West End revival of Hare's Olivier award-winning play, Daldry directs Matthew Beard as Edward Sergeant, Carey Mulligan as Kyra Hollis and Bill Nighy as Tom Sergeant.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to Hartford!
