Bruce Springsteen will make his Broadway debut this fall with Springsteen on Broadway, a solo show at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street). Performances for Springsteen on Broadway begin Tuesday, October 3, with an official opening on Thursday, October 12. Springsteen will perform five shows a week through November 26th.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards, will play the Orpheum Theatre for a one-week engagement October 24-29, 2017.

London's Dominion Theatre, home to Christopher Wheeldon's stunning reinvention of the Oscar winning Hollywood musical An American in Paris, has completed a £6 million restoration and unveils a brand new double-sided LED screen on Tottenham Court Road, the largest and highest resolution projecting screen on the exterior of a West End theatre.                                               

Later this month (26 August 2017) Andrew Lloyd Webber will welcome a new group of kids to his Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical at the New London Theatre.  Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, the record breaking West End production of School of Rock - The Musical opened to rave reviews and in April this year the show's 'kids' cast, who play live music on stage at each performance, were the recipients of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music. 

Only six weeks remain to see Disney's Aladdin in Chicago at The Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street), where the hit Broadway musical has been entertaining thousands of Chicagoans since launching its North American tour in April 2017.

Motown the Musical has just released 500,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings for the hit West End production into 2019 when the show will celebrate its third year in London and Motown will celebrate sixty years since the record company was founded.

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, the show features music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar®winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Beguelin, and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon,Something Rotten!).  

SummerStage at Leonia opens its 18th season with Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows's classic musical comedy How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. It runs July 13 -30, 2017 at the historic Civil War Drill Hall Theatre in Leonia, New Jersey.

Motown The Musical will play Hershey Theatre from Wednesday, July 19th through Sunday, July 23rd.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical will welcome five new cast members to the class on Monday, July 31, 2017. Rocking their way to Broadway will be Zachary Zwelling as 'Zack' the guitarist, Levi Buksbazen as 'Freddy' the drummer, John Allyn as 'Billy' the stylist, Gabrielle Greene as 'Shonelle' the back-up singer, and Cory Leventhal as 'James.'

My Broadway review of “An American In Paris, A New Musical,” stated that it was “a visual, dance-driven Broadway story-telling creation that is gorgeous, enchanting, seamless and sophisticated.” Though I won't go raise the banner as high for the touring production, I will say that it is a very, very pleasing and “'S Wonderful” evening of theater.
