Singer/songwriter Billy Bragg will look at English identity and loyalty in the new drama PRESSURE DROP, premiering in late Spring at Wellcome Collection in the UK. 'Pressure Drop' is the latest work from On Theatre and Mick Gordon. Bragg has written songs for the piece that is part play, part gig, part art installation.

Continuing the 10th Anniversary celebration of The Town Hall's Broadway by the Year ® concert series, Manchester joined the cast of musical theater performers celebrating shows that graced Broadway stages in 1948, including Cole Porter's classic Kiss Me Kate and Frank Loesser's Where's Charley?. The show was hosted, created and written for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.

On Wednesday, March 3 at 7 p.m., Irish chanteuse Susan McKeown and Klezmatics vocalist and accordionist Lorin Sklamberg will perform in Saints & Tzadiks, a unique concert that weaves musical tales from the Yiddish and Gaelic traditions. They will be joined by guitarists Erik Della Penna and Eamon O'Leary.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust culminates Black History Month with its regular Showcase Noir: African American Artist and Designer Exhibit and Sale and the special presentation of Grammy-award-winning South African a cappella group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Showcase Noir opens at 11am on Sunday, February 28, in the Byham Theater lobby. Ladysmith Black Mambazo performance closes the evening with their 7 p.m. performance in the theater. Alexander Gemignani directed and starred in the show alongside Finian's Rainbow's Kate Baldwin and Christopher Fitzgerald, Melinda Sullivan, Kendrick Jones, Carole Bufford, Marc Kudisch (9 to 5), Chad Kimball (Memphis), and Quentin Earl Darrington, Bobby Steggert, Ron Bohmer, and Christiane Noll from Ragtime. Broadway Musicals of 1927 is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Ross Patterson musical directed the event, beginning his tenth season as the musical director of Broadway by the Year®.
