HARLEM DUET, now streaming from Coronado Playhouse is an apt name for this beautiful, and heartbreaking play.  In a “prequel” to Shakespeare’s OTHELLO, the play follows one couple in the 1860s, 1928, and in modern Harlem. The Providence Performing Arts Center Announces The Winners of The ARTS Scholarships 2012 Program

Jo-Ann Ragosta, Chairperson of the ARTS Scholarships 2012 program, along with the members of the Community Outreach Committee of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), are pleased to announce the winners of the ARTS Scholarships 2012 program, sponsored by Textron Inc. with support from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, Ocean State Charities Trust, and the PPAC Annual Fund Donors. This year's expanded program will award scholarships to 30 talented Rhode Island student artists, ages 11-14, each of whom will receive a scholarship of up to $500 that will provide an opportunity to attend local summer arts education programs that will expand their experiences in a chosen area of study (please see below for the list of ARTS Scholarships 2012 winners).
