Official Cast Announced For ARABESQUE NO. 1

Cambria Denim's new play has an official cast for the 2018 She LA Arts Summer Theater Festival.

In arabesque no 1, two actors play fifteen characters telling the story of Bonnie and Chris from ages 6-32, as well as their friends, families, and anyone who helps to shape who they become.

Cambria Denim will be using her various talents to create arabesque no. 1 for the 2018 She LA Arts Summer Theater Festival. Not only is Denim the writer, but she is also acting as one of two actors in her cast. Denim is playing Bonnie, Chris, and the characters surrounding their upbringing and development. Denim's plays have been produced throughout the United States and this play specifically won her the National Undergraduate Playwriting Award from the Kennedy Center. Denim's counterpart will be Garrett Schulte, and he too will be playing Bonnie, Chris, etc in arabesque no. 1. Natalie Griffith Robichaux is set to direct arabesque no. 1. Robichaux has performed in theaters across the country including Lincoln Center Theatre, and she is a professor in the grad acting program at UCSD. The She NYC Summer Theater Festival is New York City's only festival devoted to producing full-length plays, musicals, and adaptations by women writers annually, and in 2018 will be joined by the inaugural year of the She L.A. Summer Theater Festival. She NYC's commitment to an open submissions process allows it to discover and cultivate the best up-and-coming talent in the industry. The 2018 NYC Festival will run from July 5-15th in the East Village's Connelly Theater, and will feature eight new works. The L.A. Festival will run from July 23-29th at Hollywood's Zephyr Theater and feature five new works.
