Nine-year-old pianist, composer and entertainer Ethan Bortnick has been making headlines as one of the youngest musicians to have his own PBS special, and is now bringing the show to fans across the country with an upcoming CD/DVD release and national headlining tour.

Coinciding with a PBS special and following a critically acclaimed performance on "Dancing with the Stars," Benise brings his live stage production of The Spanish Guitar to the Palace Theatre.

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, A BROADWAY CELEBRATION: IN PERFORMANCE AT THE WHITE HOUSE will premiere tonight, October 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET (check local listings) on PBS stations nationwide, followed by an encore presentation at 10:00 p.m. The sixty-minute television special is emceed by Nathan Lane and includes Idina Menzel, Brian d'Arcy James, Audra McDonald, Chad Kimball, Elaine Stritch, Marvin Hamlisch, Karen Olivo, Tonya Pinkins, Assata Alston and a youth ensemble from the Joy of Motion Dance Center and Duke Ellington School of the Arts, with Danielle Arci and Constantine Rousouli.

Benise's new show will feature his guitar as protagonist, as it becomes the keeper of the stories of glory and tragedy through times and world's gone by. Tony Award nominated actress Debbie Allen will direct the new musical TWIST at the Alliance Theatre from September 1 through October 3 as a part of the 2010-2011 season.
