THE BOY FROM OZ Plays Capitol Theatre, 2/26-3/17

Peter Allen was one of the greatest and most acclaimed Australian performers of all times. Having died 19 years ago Peter's music lives on and his songs have been recorded by countless international singing stars. Thursday 10 February marks his birthday - being only 16 days from the return of Todd McKenney in The Boy From Oz. After a recent sellout season in Melbourne The Boy from Oz will play a strictly limited season at the Capitol Theatre from Saturday 26 February to Thursday 17 March 2011.

Hayes and Livermore to Star in TURNS at Seymore Theatre

WICKED, 'ROSES' Win At Australia's Helpmann Live Performance Awards

WICKED and Sydney Theater Company's dramatic play 'The War of the Roses' were the big winners at the ninth Helpmann Awards at the Sydney Opera House on Monday, collecting six awards each including best musical for WICKED and best play for 'Roses.'

Ullmann, Murdoch, Armfield Join Presenters Roster For 2009 Helpmann Awards

The 2009 Helpmann Awards® Ceremony will be held next Monday 27 July at 6.30pm at Opera Theatre, Sydney Opera House, whilst the After Party will be held at The Argyle in The Rocks. Jonathan Biggins and Julia Zemiro, both acclaimed actors, broadcasters and comedians, will jointly MC the Awards Ceremony. The Ceremony will include performances by the casts of Avenue Q, Candy Man, Chicago, Jerry Springer - The Opera, Metro Street, Shane Warne - The Musical, Spamalot, 7 Fingers and Wicked, as well as performances from The Australian Ballet, David Campbell, Kate Miller-Heidke, Scared Weird Little Guys, Sydney Dance Company, Tyler Coppin, and Emma Matthews from Opera Australia.
