The Pasadena Playhouse is currently presenting Reginald Rose's classic drama TWELVE ANGRY MEN, the second production of its 2013 - 2014 Season. The show began previews November 5 and will continue through December 1, 2013, officially opening tonight, November 10.

Ars Nova presents, as part of the Out Loud series, a FREE reading of LIQUIDATION PLAY by Sarah Burgess, directed by Mike Donahue. The cast includes Dylan Baker, Mike DiSalvo, Jessica Love and Ben Rappaport.

In celebration of its fourth season, Sanguine Theatre Company will produce EXIT 27, a new work by award-winning playwright, Aleks Merilo and directed by Mark Karafin. Based on a true story, EXIT 27 combines the themes of rejection, survival, and redemption in exploration of the human experience. As the overwhelming winner of Sanguine's highly competitive playwriting competition, EXIT 27 brings a stirring perspective of raw human nature in its NYC premiere.

Naked Angels and The New School for Drama presented Angels Ajar, a benefit reading of new work by Jon Robin Baitz, Janine Nabers and student Kirit Limperis last night, Nov. 4. All proceeds to benefit the new partnership between Naked Angels and The New School for Drama. All plays were directed by Daniel Aukin. SATAN IN HIGH HEELS, the comedic adaptation of the 1960's sexploitation film, will make its off-Broadway debut tonight, October 30, 2013 at Dixon Place.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel series presents staged readings of a boy put this girl in a cage with a dog and the dog killed the girl by Clare Barron, directed by Stella Powell-Jones & Umma Lappa Soon by Claire Kiechel, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt. Today, October 28th, 6pm (Barron play) & 8pm (Kiechel play). Guests are welcome to attend one or both readings. There will be a reception between readings. Bernie B. Stephen Fry, who is making his Broadway acting debut as Malvolio in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of TWELFTH NIGHT, will be a guest on 'The Colbert Report' on Thursday, October 24. 'The Colbert Report' airs at 11:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, 10:30 PM Central.

Stage & Screen, a collaboration between Coolidge Corner Theatre and Huntington Theatre Company that explores the depictions of shared themes in Huntington productions and acclaimed films begins its second season of collaboration tonight, October 14 at 7pm with Sidney Lumet's Academy Award-winning film Network. The screening will be followed by a conversation with playwright, screenwriter, and film director Stephen Belber and others from the Huntington's production of The Power of Duff.
