RACE, the new play written and directed by David Mamet will make its world premiere at the ETHEL BARRYMORE THEATRE (located at 243 West 47th St.) beginning on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 with the official opening night on Thursday, December 6, 2009. Rehearsals are set to begin on Monday, October 19, 2009.

The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), in association with the National New Play Network and the National Center for New Plays at Stanford University, will host the fourth annual MFA Playwrights' Workshop, July 25 to August 2, 2009. Eight playwrights have been invited, selected from 57 Master of Fine Art graduate students nominated by the heads of playwriting programs across the nation.

Penguin Rep Theatre, under the leadership of artistic director Joe Brancato and executive director Andrew M. Horn, open its 2009 season with Our Lady of South Division Street, a new comedy by Tom Dudzick, directed by Mr. Brancato, from May 15 through June 7 in Stony Point, New York.
Our Lady of South Division Street is the story of Clara Nowak, her daughters Beverly and Ruth, and son Jimmy.

Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. The Flea Theater has announced a 2nd extension its wildly popular and critically acclaimed World Premiere production of Itamar Moses' LOVE/STORIES (OR BUT YOU WILL GET USED TO IT. Moses is the author of The Four of Us, Bach at Leipzig, Back Back Back and Celebrity Row, a playwright whose sensibility has proven to be a perfect match for The Bats, The Flea's resident company of emerging artists.
