Ferguson and Ebersole Guest on UGLY BETTY's Return Show on January 6

'The Passion of the Betty' - In 'Ugly Betty's' first episode in its new Wednesday night timeslot as part of ABC's winning comedy bloc, Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family') makes a cameo appearance, returning as Betty's orthodontist, Dr. Farkas. When Betty becomes concerned that she and Matt are spending too much time together, she tries to give him something else to be passionate about -- a surprise gallery showing of his art work -- with unintended results (Tony Award-winning actress Christine Ebersole guest stars as Frances, the gallery owner).

'Sex' Writers Talk CEDAR CITY FALLS with the New York Times

It has been nearly five years since former Sex and the City writers Liz Tuccillo ('Sex and the City,' He's Just Not That Into You), Cindy Chupack (Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winner as a writer and producer of Sexand the City), Elisa Zuritsky, and Julie Rottenberg (Emmy nominated) have collaborated on a project. Fortunately their newest venture, Cedar City Falls, showcases what the four talents do best: bring juicy, comedic soap opera to life in a series of weekly episodes that will be presented live by the LAByrinth Theater Company at the Cell Theater beginning October 6 for four weeks (through October 27) and at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn for a final four weeks (November 4 - 24).

CEDAR CITY FALLS Featuring Rubin-Vega, Martin, Jennings Grant And More Gears Up For Opening, 10/6

As previously reported, former 'Sex and the City' writers are teaming up to write a weekly downtown theatrical soap titled Cedar City Falls - a Mid-West Conflict with Labyrinth Theater Company members. Performances will be every Tuesday night at 7:00 and 9:30 at the Cell Theater beginning October 6 for four weeks (through October 27) and will continue its final four weeks at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn ( November 4 - 24).

This year's Our Time Award will be presented to Bill Withers, the Grammy Award winning music legend responsible for such hits as 'Ain't No Sunshine,' 'Lovely Day,' and 'Lean on Me.'
