The Joyce Theater, under the executive direction of Linda Shelton, announces Joyce Unleashed, a collection of three cutting-edge performances presented outside of its historical Chelsea home, from May 8-17. Artists include the Seattle-based zoe | juniper performing BEGINAGAIN at 3-Legged Dog Art & Technology Center in Downtown Manhattan from May 8 - 10; NYC-based Laurie Berg's The Afterlife and Minneapolis-based SuperGroup's The Tent Has Been Pulled Down will perform at Brooklyn's Invisible Dog Art Center from May 15-17. Tickets for all performances are $15 and are available at www.Joyce.org or by calling 212.242.0800. Seating is general admission.

3-Legged Dog has announced that it is partnering with The Joyce Theater for the NYC premiere of BEGINAGAIN, a new technology infused dance experience by the acclaimed Seattle-based zoe | juniper, which is part of JOYCE UNLEASHED. Conceived, designed and directed by Zoe Scofield and Juniper Shuey, with choreography by Zoe Scofield and visual design by Juniper Shuey, BEGINAGAIN opens on Thursday, May 8 for a limited engagement through Saturday, May 10.

A book launch party for 'Wynn Place Show: A Biased History of the Rollicking Life & Extreme Times of Wynn Handman and The American Place Theatre' by Jeremy Gerard (Smith and Kraus Publishers) was held December 16, 2013 at The Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South, NYC. The company returns to La MaMa tonight, January 10 to 20 with 'Something's Got Ahold of My Heart,' its newest creation, that wrestles with the yearning, euphoria and eviscerating tragedy of love. Weaving an energetic blend of 70's pastiche, romantic comedy excerpts, dance theater, testimonials, original music and aggressive physicality, it invites its audience into a deeply emotional experience.

Anne Jeffreys, Jane Kean, Pat Marshall, Patricia Morison and Charlotte Rae - join together on the same stage to sing songs from their careers, talk about their co-stars, directors and composers and stray into their wicked (or not-so-wicked) adventures in the great tradition of "No Business Like Show Business."

Returning home for its first local Seattle production, the Tony Award-winning rock musical Next to Normal will be co-produced in February 2013 by award-winning companies Balagan Theatre and Contemporary Classics. Starring in the pivotal leading role will be one of Seattle's most regarded actors, Marya Sea Kaminski, in her first musical.
