BWW Recap: Crimes of Passion Heat Up on HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER

Wow! That is a good word to describe the revelations from “He Has a Wife,” episode eight of ABC's HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. We have been teased for the seven previous installments with clues about the night Sam Keating died. We have also only seen tiny tidbits of the night Lila Stangard was murdered. And what of murder suspect Rebecca or Annalise's loyal staff members? This is the last episode before the mega-reveal , but there was much to chew on tonight. Russell Thomas to Replace Marco Berti in San Francisco Opera's NORMA, 9/14-30

San Francisco Opera today announced a cast change for the Company's current production of Vincenzo Bellini's Norma. American tenor Russell Thomas will sing the role of Pollione for the remaining five performances of the opera on September 14m, 19, 23, 27 and 30, 2014. Mr. Thomas replaces Italian tenor Marco Berti, who has withdrawn from the production for personal reasons.

This year, A Christmas Carol is directed by John Langs with Artistic Director Kurt Beattie returning to play Ebenezer Scrooge, in alternating performances with first timer Peter Crook making his first appearance in the role. Also new to the cast, G. Valmont Thomas, who's performance in 'Master Harold and the Boys,' just earned him the 2013 Gregory Award for Outstanding Actor. Mr. Thomas recently returned to Seattle after a long stint at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and will take on the charismatic role of Spirit 2 (Ghost of Christmas Present).

Another important recognition was received this Thursday, October 24, 2013, by the Acclaimed Italian Tenor Luciano Lamonarca (resident of Westchester County). This time it was Hon. Thomas DiNapoli, the New York State Comptroller, who honored him with a Proclamation for artistic merit. It follows a previous one issued on October 7, 2013, by the Westchester County Executive, Hon. Robert Astorino.

Charles Thomas Appointed President of the Delaware County Symphony

The Board of Directors of the Delaware County Symphony (DCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Thomas as the symphony's new board President. Mr. Thomas is currently Principal Cellist and Chamber Music Director for the Delaware County Symphony. In accepting the position Mr. Thomas commented that 'it is a pleasure to take on the new responsibility to serve the symphony and classical music'. He added, 'The DCS will continue to share with our communities and our region the priceless inheritance and shared treasures of classical music.
