The Off-Broadway League today announced details for the 2017 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The 32nd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts, beginning at 7:00pm EST.

The Ruth Page Civic Ballet is proud to present its annual production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Ruth Page andco-directed by Victor Alexander and Dolores Lipinski Long. This production is performed at Northeastern Illinois University, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue in Chicago, Today, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 at 1 and 5 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and children under the age of 12 years and $10 for NEIU students, faculty and staff, one ticket per I.D. card. Also available is "Tea with Clara," a delightful tea party which patrons can enjoy with their favorite The Nutcracker characters from 3:15 - 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Tickets for "Tea with Clara" include admission to the tea party and either 1 or 5 p.m. performance, and are $85 for adults and $50 for children under the age of 12 years. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey rings in the holiday season with a timeless production of A Child's Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue in Madison. Tickets to this musical celebration can be purchased by calling the Box Office 973-408-5600 or online at ShakespeareNJ.org.
