The Players Present The Marvelous Wonderettes

Chris Hardwick - Nerdist CEO, comedian, actor, TV host, producer, and podcaster - is slated to host Extraordinary: Stan Lee, a highly-anticipated live event paying homage to the world's most iconic comic creator.  Taking place on August 22 at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles, the once-in-a-lifetime tribute in the vein of "This is Your Life," will bring together heavyweights of the comic book world along with a number of leading TV/film talent.

Bob Ost & Wildly Productive Productions and Xoregos Performing Company, with generous support by Granite Hills Press and The Confucius Institute of San Diego University, are thrilled to announce that Romance of the Western Chamber, a musical adaptation (in English) of the fabled Chinese classic Xi Xiang Ji, will make its U.S. Premiere this fall. The production will play a strictly limited engagement of 14 performances, beginning Thursday, September 14 at TADA! Theater (located at 15 W. 28th Street, 3rd Floor), with opening night scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2017. Performances will take place according to the following schedule: Thursdays & Friday at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm; and Sundays at 3pm.

On the weekend of October 15 & 16, 2016, Taylor 2 returned to the Schimmel Center at Pace University to bring some of our favorite Paul Taylor pieces to a cozy and intimate setting. Taylor 2 was established in 1993 as a way to ensure Mr. Taylor's work could be seen by all audiences, even in the smallest of venues.

Tony and Drama Desk Award-winner, Beth Leavel and Tony and Olivier nominated and Drama Desk Award-winner, Gavin Lee, will be performing as part of the Broadway Spotlight concert scheduled for Monday, October 17 at Ocean State Theatre in Warwick.

At the Wednesday, Sept 22nd matinee of The Marvelous Wonderettes, producers Tom and Michael D'Angora will be celebrating the show's 100th performance by welcoming Kristy Cates to the company!  Cates is joining the production in the role of Missy Miller who belts out 'You Don't Own Me', 'Wedding Bell Blues', and 'Mr. Lee' among other classic 50's and 60's pop hits. 

Mr. Lee, a passionate writer, has completed his new book 'Revenge of the Tattoo Man': a white-knuckle adventure of how an ill-fated vacation becomes a horror show in which violence becomes not only common place but an entirely necessary part of avenging the wronged.

For the second year, the Four Nations Ensemble will make its home at Merkin Concert Hall to present three programs of chamber and vocal music by Bach and his contemporaries, from Handel to Couperin to Vivaldi. The programs, each on Monday evenings, will be held January 30, March 13, and May 8, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

Award-winning actors Tracey Birdsall and Barry Corbin are filming THE TIME WAR, writer-director Neil Johnson's long gestating science-fiction thriller that went into development back in 2010.
