David Burgess Brings Brazilian Solo Guitar Music to Centenary Stage Tonight

Recently returned from a seven city European concert tour, Centenary Stage Company welcomes New York guitarist David Burgess to perform some of Brazil's finest solo guitar music tonight, September 26 at 8pm in the David and Carol Lackland Center on the campus of Centenary College.

Two River Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias, continues its season with George Bernard Shaw's classic Candida, directed by David Staller. Performances will begin at Two River Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, on Tuesday, March 22 and continue through Sunday, April 10. The opening night performance is Saturday, March 26 at 8pm.

The Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC) announces their Tenth Anniversary Season Gala honoring Hal Rosenbluth (Kaufman Astoria Studios) and Council Member Peter Vallone Jr. The Gala will feature a special performance entitled BEAUTIFUL MUSIC: 10 YEARS OF APAC, music directed by APAC Alum Jeffrey Campos and directed by APAC Artistic Director Tom Wojtunik.

Tony and Oscar Award-winner Tony Walton, who helmed the Irish Repertory's acclaimed revivals of Shaw's THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE and MAJOR BARBARA, directed the run of the show.
