Vancouver, BC -- Kokoro Dance is thrilled to announce the unveiling of their new home located in the heart of the downtown eastside at Vancouver's beloved Woodward's building.

THE HAPPINESS PROJECT is a brand new production that explores our understanding of happiness and well-being. It brings together a company of young artists aged 12-19 and six scientists and academics to create a piece of contemporary theatre. The performances will take place at the Roundhouse, 3rd - 14th November 2015, following a run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August.

Bay Street Theater has announced that FIVE PRESIDENTS, the new play by Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland (Six Feet Under, The West Wing, and House of Cards), will extend its run for an additional week due to popular demand. The production will now run from tonight, June 23-July 19.

Announcing the program for Year TENN, Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival (TW Fest), Co-founder and Curator David Kaplan said, "This year's festival celebrates what happened to Tennessee Williams in Provincetown during the last ten years: his plays got performed here. We've rethought his classics, and rethought the plays he wrote that had been ignored or dismissed. The mantra that Williams had lost his mojo was replaced with cheers at the world premieres in P'town of The Remarkable Rooming-House of Madame LeMonde (TW Fest 2009) and The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore (TW Fest 2013). So we're bringing those two productions back for our audiences to cheer in 2015, along with eight other hits and variations."

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at The Graduate Center, CUNY presents the 2014 PRELUDE FESTIVAL. The annual festival is dedicated to artists at the forefront of contemporary New York City theatre and performance. Following the enormous success of its tenth anniversary in 2013, the eleventh annual PRELUDE festival will be curated by Chloe Bass, Jackie Sibblies Drury, Sarah Rose Leonard, Allison Lyman, and Frank Hentschker.

Sharr White's The Other Place begins a season that explores challenges in The Richard and Debbie Cohn Trustus Side Door Theatre. This psychological thriller, under the direction of award-winning director Jim O'Connor, is a look at the journey of a character undergoing impactful but unexplained change. This is an intimate look at an intimate event in our intimate Side Door Theatre. The Other Place opens in the Trustus Side Door Theatre on Friday October 17th and runs through November 1st, 2014. The League of Professional Theatre Women is pleased to present Actor/Director/Philanthropist BILLIE ALLEN for the next Oral History interview. ALLEN will sit down with Tony Award-Winning Actress PHYLICIA RASHAD to discuss her fascinating work as a theatre artist. The event will be Monday, September 22, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on 65th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Admission is free, but seats will be on a first-come-first-seated basis.

The award-winning Beau Jest Moving Theatre returns to their roots and The Charlestown Working Theater, with ?their world premiere production of a gentle, new comedy, Apt. 4D. The physical theater ensemble creates a detailed world using movement, language, and a bare stage to evoke the epic hopes and fears three ordinary people experience when a mysterious woman moves in next door.

Common Ground Theatre's Small Series will present Jean Genet's The Maids today, February 6-15 at 7:30pm.

Two maids plot the demise of their egotistical madame in this suspenseful and sexy French classic. The themes of class unrest and fame-seeking violence keep this script current as the audience is taken on a fantastical funhouse ride through the outsider world of Jean Genet.

2012's hit Finborough Theatre play The Fear of Breathing - Stories from the Syrian Revolution by Zoe Lafferty, Ruth Sherlock and Paul Wood will be translated into Japanese and mounted in a new production by One Two Works at Tokyo's Akasaka Red Theatre. It will run from 11 - 17 November 2013, directed by the acclaimed Toshinobu Kojo.
