Restaurants Announced For 2017 Napa Valley Somms and Sliders

More than 25 New York area restaurant locations will participate in this year's Somms and Sliders Napa Valley wine program. Organized by the Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) nonprofit association, Somms and Sliders runs October 20 through November 5, 2017.

Writers Avenue Opens New Season at The Courtyard in Hoxton

MSMT and Curtis Library Partner for Panel Discussion Series

Maine State Music Theatre continues its community outreach efforts with its highly popular "Peek Behind the Curtain" series that runs each month from May through August. Each session will feature a panel of MSMT artists and staff involved in crafting the shows of the theatre's 2017 season. The events are free and open to the public.

Cleveland Orchestra Director of Choruses Robert Porco will Step Down at Conclusion of 2017-18 Season

The Cleveland Orchestra has announced that renowned choral director Robert Porco will step down from his position as the Orchestra's Director of Choruses with the conclusion of the 2017-18 season.  At that time, he will be the longest-serving Director of Choruses and Director of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus in the ensemble's history, he began his tenure with the 1998-99 season.

WRITERS AVENUE Returns to The Courtyard in Hoxton

WRITERS AVENUE THEATRE COMPANY, founded by its Artistic Director, Sandra Thompson-Quartey, specialises in finding, developing and staging new plays by first-time writers.   In June 2017 Writers Avenue will be moving into the award-winning Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton, London and will be programming work for the main theatre which features 130-150 seats within a highly flexible space. 

Panel Discussion on the Making of Always...Patsy Cline Comes to MSMT

Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT) will hold a panel discussion "Peek Behind the Curtain - Always, Patsy Cline" on Wednesday, June 14, 12 pm - 1 pm in the Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick. The event is free and open to the public.
