Last night, May 18, acclaimed actors Robert De Niro, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, and Cherry Jones joined conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra for the world premiere performance of The Dream Lives On: A Portrait of the Kennedy Brothers, at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA. Written by composer Peter Boyer and lyricist Lynn Ahrens and commissioned by Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, The Dream Lives On pays tribute to the legacies of John, Robert, and Edward Kennedy.

On May 19th, the Boston Pops will feature the music of award winning pianist, composer Roger Kellaway at their 'Presidents At Pops' Gala. The piece is called 'We The People' with lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman and will be performed that evening by vocalist Patti Austin. It is the theme for 'Visions of America - A Photo Symphony' which was commissioned by renowned photographer, Joseph Sohm.
The Boston Pops' 125th season opened on May 4 with a gala concert featuring multiple Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel and the inimitable Doc Severinsen.
