Forbes announced today that LP, Afrojack, Wiz Khalifa, and OCD: Moosh And Twist will headline the Forbes Under 30 Music Festival, a presentation of Global Citizen Nights, on the evening of October 19, 2014at the Piazza at Schmidt's in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties neighborhood. A new musical created by a team of Australian brothers, Paul and Michael Hodge, CLINTON will makes its US debut at the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival. The new musical will be directed by Adam Arian with musical direction by James Dobinson and choreography by Emily McNamara, it will begin performances July 18 through July 25 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). Earlier today, BWW reported that after rumors of NBC's negotiations with FOX Television Studios to produce its upcoming four-hour miniseries on the life and times of Hillary Clinton, the two companies have ended their conversation. A source at FOX told The Hollywood Reporter that talks 'fell apart over deal points more than any potential fallout' politcally.

CBS Orders Fictional Female Secretary of State Series from Morgan Freeman & Barbara Hall

CBS has put their own project inspired by the former First Lady into development from Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and Barbara Hall, according to Deadline. To dodge any potential backlash, however, the drama will follow a fictionalized female Secretary of State - ala the 2012 Sigourney Weaver-led miniseries POLITICAL ANIMALS.
