For generations, musical theatre writers have come to New York City to change the world. 'Once Upon A Time In New York City' was about the people who have changed THEM. This concert featured musical theatre writers- who are ages 19 to 90, who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, who are established and who are emerging- each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, is proud to announce the return of award-winning songwriter Joe Iconis with his popular cabaret Joe Iconis & Family for three performances October 11- 13, at the now 99-seat Mr. Finn's Cabaret, located on the lower level of the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center (formerly Stage 2), 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield. Producers Carl Levin, Michael Minarik and The Dodgers announced today that the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival's Outstanding Musical winner FAT CAMP will begin performances off Broadway on April 12, 2012 at the American Theatre of Actors. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and Sh-K-Boom Records will present NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation winner Dawn Cantwell in Concert. Dawn Cantwell will perform at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:30pm. The concert is directed by Travis Griesler, with musical direction by Alexander Rovang.
