The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's Executive Producer & CEO, Bill Kiska, has announced the theater's upcoming Mainstage Season. As Frederick's only year-round producing theater, Way Off Broadway is preparing to reach a milestone when its 2014 Season opens in January. Way Off Broadway will be celebrating twenty years of entertainment at its theater located in the Willowtree Plaza on the west side of the City of Frederick.

Orchestra Victoria, under the direction of maestro John Foreman sweep into the overture of the production company's production of Singin' In The Rain with such flamboyance and precision that anything that follows seems mundane and a little underwhelming. This is a combination of the show, the cast and the limited set, constricting the cast's ability to maximise their skill and talent.

Singin' In The Rain will open tonight, August 21 in the State Theatre. Currently enjoying a sell out season in London, the Australian production will be directed by Gary Young, choreographed by Kelley Abbey and feature John Foreman as musical director.

Following its recent sell-out season in London's West End, Stage Entertainment UK is delighted to announce that the critically acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre production of the musical Singin' In The Rain will tour the UK and Ireland later this year. Opening at Manchester Opera House on Wednesday 13 November 2013 (with previews from Saturday 9 November), the show will play a Christmas and New Year season in Cardiff before visiting cities across the country.

Today in 1985, Singin' in the Rain opened at the George Gershwin Theatre, where it ran for 367 performances. Singin' in the Rain is a musical with a book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, lyrics by Arthur Freed, and music by Nacio Herb Brown. Adapted from the 1952 movie of the same name, the plot closely adheres to the original. Set in Hollywood in the waning days of the silent screen era, it focuses on romantic lead Don Lockwood, his sidekick Cosmo Brown, aspiring actress Kathy Selden, and Lockwood's leading lady Lina Lamont, whose less-than-dulcet vocal tones make her an unlikely candidate for stardom in talking pictures. Directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp, the cast included Don Correia as Don, Mary D'Arcy as Kathy, Peter Slutsker as Cosmo, and Faye Grant as Lina.

Denver Center Attractions announces the 2013 nominees for The Bobby G Awards - the Colorado regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Fifteen public and private high schools in the seven Denver metro counties participated in the inaugural season. The West End production of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will have its final performance at the Palace Theatre on Saturday 8 June 2013 ahead of an extensive UK tour. The production will open at Manchester's Opera House on Wednesday 13 November and move to Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre for a Christmas and New Year season.
