WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director Joanie Schultz today announced casting and creative team details and updates for the World Premiere theatrical event, The Great Distance Home, conceived and directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi.
In a unique partnership with Dallas-based performance company Prism Movement Theater (PMT), Theatre Three presents the world premiere of Lear, a wordless adaptation of the classic William Shakespeare play King Lear. Adapted by PMT co-founder Katy Tye and starring Marianne Galloway as the gender-swapped titular character, Lear is a moving work of dance theatre that focuses on the relationship between Lear and her daughters. A new play by Lauren Gunderson, Silent Sky will run January 20-February 12, 2017, in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Anastasia Munoz as Henrietta Leavitt, Sarah Elizabeth Price as Margaret Leavitt, Mitchell Stephens as Peter Shaw, Marianne Galloway as Annie Cannon, and Shannon J. McGrann as Williamina Fleming.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced casting and creative team details for the regional premiere of One Man, Two Guvnors, directed by Terry Martin. Written by Richard Bean, One Man, Two Guvnors will run August 5-28, 2016. Brian Gonzales, currently performing on Broadway as Babkak in Disney's Aladdin, will star as Francis Henshall. Gonzales, who last performed on the WaterTower Theatre stage in Laughter on the 23rd Floor (2010), will reprise the role he understudied in the Broadway production of One Man, Two Guvnors.

Actors Stan Graner, Nathanael Clark, Kelsey Milbourn, Justin Duncan, Joshua Kumler, and Mitchell Stephens will star in the play running Today, December 11 through Sunday, December 20 at the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at Amphibian Stage Productions. This is Amphibian's inaugural holiday offering.
