The next edition of NYC-ARTS, THIRTEEN's weekly arts and culture multi-platform showcase for the tri-state area, will feature a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the Metropolitan Opera's new production of Franz Lehar's operetta The Merry Widow. Staged by five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman, in her Metropolitan Opera debut, the segment will air tonight, December 18 at 8 p.m. on THIRTEEN, and will be available for streaming on NYC-ARTS.org.

This summer with great anticipation, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga took the stage for their first full live concert appearance in New York City and performed a special evening of songs, many of which from their Grammy nominated, #1 album, Cheek To Cheek.

Co-adapted by Denis O'Hare and Lisa Peterson, based on Homer's Iliad translated by Robert Fagles, AN ILIAD airs on 'Theater Close-Up' tonight, November 20 at 10 p.m. on THIRTEEN, with a repeat broadcast Sunday, November 23 at 11 p.m., and will also air on WLIW21 on Monday, November 24 at 10 p.m.
