TVLine.com reports that Liane Balaban has just been cast in a recurring role on The CW's SUPERNATURAL. The actress will portray 'Amelia', the love interest of Sam Winchester on the show's upcoming Season 8.

Fans can visit tweet.cwtv.com to Tweet with cast members and producers during the East Coast telecast of each CW series. On the West Coast, fans of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES can also tweet along with executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec on Thursday, May 6.
