Open Stage of Harrisburg, the capital area's professional regional theatre will present its 2010 Flying Solo Festival from June 3 to 26. A month long festival of theatre, Flying Solo features a cavalcade of solo performances including playwright and performer Dorea Schmidt, Sirius/XM radio host Seth Rudetsky, stand-up comedian Jennifer Blaine, and YouTube sensation Miranda Sings.

Last night, March 15, the stars came out to celebrate 64 years of Liza Minnelli, who turned 64 on March 12, 2010. Friends such as Parker Posey, Joel Grey and Billy Stritch celebrated with a night of performances honoring Liza, one of theater's all-time greats. Minnelli herself took the stage at the end of the evening.

Word is out that American musical theatre favorite Miranda Sings is on her way back to London to perform alongside some of our own home grown talents and give them some much needed Miranda-style vocal training.
