The Yiddish world premiere of Eugene Ionesco's RHINOCEROS began performances September 7th and the official Opening is set for this Thursday, September 14th at the Castillo Theatre, 543 West 42 Street (between Tenth & Eleventh Aves.)

New Yiddish Rep (NYR) is bringing back by popular demand the controversial classic "God of Vengeance" for a special encore running for two weeks at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street, from Tues March 14 to Monday March 27.

New York audiences will be treated to the first revival in Yiddish in many decades of Sholem Asch's shocking and ahead-of-its-time drama "God of Vengeance," the basis of the Broadway-bound play "Indecent." Directed by and featuring the Tony nominee Eleanor Reissa, "God of Vengeance" begins previews at La MaMa, 74A East 4th Street, starting December 22. It opens on Christmas Day.
