3 TENORS IN SEARCH OF AN ACT Plays National Opera Center Recital Hall Today

The 3 Tenors, Bill Brooks, Edd Clark, and Stephen Tharp are back, and expanding the boundaries of the American Songbook. For one night only, the tenors are celebrating the songs of American composers from Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil to Ned Rorem, from Christine Lavin to Samuel Barber and Ernest Gold, current composers, Paul Stephan and David Cisco, and throwing in just a little dash of Charles Ives.

TV: Mimi Hines Celebrates 80th Birthday at 54 Below!

The stars came out on Wednesday, July 17 to see Mimi Hines as she celebrated her 80th birthday with a special, one-night-only concert at Broadway's nightclub, 54 Below. Among those in attendance were 'Late Show with David Letterman' bandleader Paul Shaffer, from TV's 'The Nanny' and 'Happily Divorced' start Fran Drescher, and Broadway favorite Lee Roy Reams (The Producers, 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast) and Tony Award winners Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line, Company) , Faith Prince (Annie, Guys and Dolls) and Liliane Montevecchi (Nine). TV Exclusive: Faith Prince Chats Taking on 'Miss Hannigan' in ANNIE!

Tony Award-winner Faith Prince returns to Broadway as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). She officially begins performances tonight, July 19, and while she was attending Mimi Hines' recent 54 Below show, she chatted exclusively with Richard Ridge about joining the cast. This July and August, 54 BELOW, the performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife, presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. In addition at 54 Below is the WBGO Jazz Series on Tuesday nights, as well as Late Night at 54 Below: 'Backstage' with Susie Mosher, and vocal competition 'The Callback.' BWW Reviews: Broadway at NOCCA: An Evening with Seth Rudetsky and Patti LuPone

Last night was the first concert in a series that producer Mark Cortale, along with SiriusXM radio star Seth Rudetsky, is brining to the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA). The first guest of the series was Patti LuPone, known for her roles in EVITA, LES MISERABLES, ANYTHING GOES, SWEENY TODD, and GYPSY among others. The format for the performance was very laid back. Discussion between Rudetsky and LuPone was intermingled with singing some of their favorite show tunes.
