The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will present the world premiere of UniSon by OSF ensemble-in-residence UNIVERSES, directed by Robert O'Hara, on April 23 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. Preview performances are April 19, 21 and 22; the production will run through October 28, 2017.

Just last night, November 14, The Public Theater celebrated opening night of PARTY PEOPLE. Guests included: Former Black Panther Chairman Bobby Seale, and original party member Ericka Huggins, as well as photojournalist and advocate Stephen Shames, along with Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Adriane Lenox, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Eisa Davis, Danny Hoch, Pascale Armand, and Sanjit DeSilva.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will open the world premiere production of Party People at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7 in the New Theatre. Written by UNIVERSES (Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, Steven Sapp, William Ruiz, a.k.a. Ninja), the play is directed by Liesl Tommy, who last directed Ruined (2010) at OSF. Party People will run through November 3.

Alison Carey, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival?s director of American Revolutions: the United States History Cycle, and Artistic Director Bill Rauch announced today the second round of theatre artists to be commissioned for the 37-play, 10-year History Cycle, the largest commissioning and production project in the Festival's 74-year history.
