JC Alvarez's New Radio Show OUT LOUD & LIVE! Airs Fridays from XL Nightclub

Born and raised in New York City, journalist JC Alvarez has been entertaining the city and the nation with his thought-provoking yet, off-the-cuff amusing interviews and pop-culture commentary. Working as the Nightlife Editor for the nation-wide favorite gay publication, Edge on the Net for three years, he has recently started a side project radio show, Out Loud & Live! with JC Alvarez. Tune in this week Friday at 9PM EST, for interviews with Pop singer, Grace Valerie, The Cast of the Internet web series, "In Between Men" and B-Movie Actor/Producer and web sensation Joe Zaso "Cafe Himbo.'

Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. GLAAD's annual summer event featured hors d'oeuvres, hosted cocktails, and special performances to celebrate and highlight GLAAD's work to build support for equality. Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert will feature rousing songs from Broadway and pop hits, as well as feature stories of LGBT pride as told by celebrities, activists and the TADA! Youth Theater. The event will be held at the Mainstage Theatre on 42nd Street in New York City tonight, June 25, 2012 at 7pm. The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York City and Broadway Sings for Pride.

The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 31 in New York City. In its twenty-six year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. Mike Ruiz to Receive Imperial Court of New York's Diamond Award, 3/31; CHICAGO & More to Perform

The Imperial Court of New York has announced that Mike Ruiz, LGBT advocate and renowned photographer, will receive the Imperial Diamond Award at the 26th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns on March 31, 2012 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Ruiz will accept the Award for service to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

XL's Rockit will be hosting the official launch party next Friday, February 3rd for RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE.
