For the month of June, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) looks forward to a particularly impressive lineup, brimming with terrific events.

The 15th annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, today announced its jurors - a diverse group of industry leaders, including award-winning actors, acclaimed filmmakers, writers, entrepreneurs, artists and cultural leaders.

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to the extention of FLIGHT SCHOOL, THE MUSICAL, a new musical based on the book Flight School by Lita Judge, with a book by Cara Lustik, lyrics by Joshua H. Cohen, music by David Mallamud and directed and choreographed by Wendy Seyb. The production will continue at the Theater at Blessed Sacrament (formerly Arclight Theater Sundays only at 11:00 am, November 14th through December 6th.

On Friday and Saturday, September 25th and 26th, choreographer, Gaspard Louis will bring his company, Gaspard & Dancers to perform their Trilogy which pays tribute to the people of Haiti who endured the horrific 2010 earthquake that caused devastation to the island nation. “The Trilogy was my own personal response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake,” says choreographer and Artistic Director, Gaspard Louis.

North Carolina-based The Old Ceremony has confirmed tour dates in support of Sprinter out July 10 on Yep Roc Records. Launching with two nights at Cat's Cradle Backroom in Carrboro, NC, the nine-city tour includes stops Arlington, VA, New York, Boston, Toronto, Newport, KY, Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta. On the bill with him will be selections from Three Way, by David Cote (libretto) and Robert Paterson (music), which has been described as “a kind of NC-17 Il trittico”, and two works with lyrics by UTC#61's Edward Einhorn: The Velvet Oratorio (music by Henry Akona) and Money Lab (music by Avner Finberg).

Most singer-songwriters, when building up to releasing their breakthrough new album, are getting publicity photos taken, proofreading lyrics on their album booklet, and readying to hit the media circuit.

Brett Harris, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Durham, NC, will be releasing the Mr. Sunshine EP today, September 9. The 4 song EP was recorded with Jeff Crawford (Mandolin Orange, The Old Ceremony) between Brett's touring as a member of jangle pop progenitors The dB's and his performing as a core band member in the live performances of Big Star's Third.

Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet). This is a limited engagement. The cast also includes Alex Breaux as 'Brodie' and Madeline Weinstein as 'Debbie.' Final casting to be announced.
