The Dramatists Guild of America has announced the recipients of their annual awards, which will be presented at an awards ceremony hosted by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez on Monday, February 24, 2014, at The Lambs Club in New York.
On Monday, January 27 (3pm and 7pm), Cherry Lane Theatre will present Love/Kill by Joe Pintauro. The project will be directed by Valentina Fratti and will feature the talents of Angelina Fiordellisi, Mandy Gonzales, Alex Morgan, Dennis Parlato and Peter McRobbie.
Stephen Schwartz musical based on Studs Terkel's 1974 mega-tome has been updated to reflect changes in occupations, but continues to tell the stories of the everyday laborers, the unsung and invisible workforce that powers our nation. The eclectic, moving score gets the attention it deserves from Ilyse Robbins' accomplished ensemble of singer/actors and live musicians under the musical direction of Jonathan Goldberg.
For everyone who has ever had a long, tough day on the job comes the musical 'Working,' presented by Playful Theatre Productions at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. This inspiring, compelling portrait of 'average' Americans will be performed Fridays, Nov. 1 and 8 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 2 and 9 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 3 and 10 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC's West Windsor campus, MCCC's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew takes place following the opening night performance on Nov. 1.

Directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Josh Rhodes, Prospect Theatre Company's WORKING began performances on Saturday, December 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30. Opening Night is tonight, December 12 at 7:15 PM.
