Julia Stiles stars in a new series, BLUE which is premiering now on the YouTube Channel, WIGS (www.youtube.com/wigs). In the series, Stiles stars as the title character, a single mom trying to protect her son from the consequences of her secret career.
Lakeshore Records will release the People Like Us - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally and in stores on June 19, 2012. The recording features original score by Academy Award winning composer A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 HOURS) and the new song 'Dotted Line,' a collaboration between Rahman and Liz Phair.
Joan Didion will be a guest at a Westport Country Playhouse Sunday Symposium on June 17, following the 3 p.m. matinee performance of Ms. Didion's play, "The Year of Magical Thinking," based on her 2005 National Book Award-winning memoir. She will converse on the Playhouse stage with David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director. Following the symposium, Ms. Didion will sign copies of her books which will be available for purchase.

The drama originated from a French epistolary novel by Choderlos de Laclos, first published in 1782. The two main characters, both so rich they have no concept of the value of money, feel they are above the law and free to play by their own rules. They pretend in public to be all they should be, but behind closed doors they reveal themselves as they truly are.

Director Joe Dowling today announced the three plays that will comprise the Guthrie's 2012 celebration of prolific British playwright, screenwriter and director Christopher Hampton. A Guthrie commission of Appomattox, a new play based upon Hampton's original 2007 opera collaboration with composer Philip Glass, will be joined by Tales from Hollywood and Total Eclipse.
