Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of The Lincoln Center Theater Production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I will go on sale Friday, March 31, 2017.

The National Tour of The King and I, which won a Tony Award for Best Revival in 2015, is opened at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles last night, and will play through January 21st, 2017. Stars of the stage and screen, including original cast members of one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most beloved classics, came out in droves to celebrate the opening, and we've got all of the lovely red carpet photos below!

Broadway In Boston, Ambassador Theatre Group and NETworks Presentations LLC announced today that the national tour of The Lincoln Center Theater Production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, will play a limited two week engagement at the Boston Opera House April 11-23, 2017 as part of the 2016-2017 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season. ALL THINGS EQUAL is a provocative evening of song and spoken word that will explore the struggle of human beings to achieve equality on every front in our community, our country and the world. It will be presented at 7 pm on Monday, May 3rd 2010 at the Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012.

Curtain Call's popular Musical Mondays series finishes its ninth season of presenting new musical theater works in concert on Monday, April 19, 7:30 pm with 'Take Me, America.' 'Take Me, America' was written by composer Bob Christianson and book writer / lyricist Bill Nabel. Nabel is best known for logging more than 9,000 performances as Broadway actor in such long-running shows as 'A Chorus Line,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Evita,' '42nd Street' and 'Sweeney Todd. Christianson has composed for film and television, conducted Broadway musicals and recorded with Diana Ross, Judy Collins and Aretha Franklin, among many other artists.
