Beginning Tuesday, March 31st, the Broadway production of JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical, will launch a day-of performance mobile student lottery. JERSEY BOYS is the only currently running Broadway production to employ a mobile lottery at this time.
The Hartford engagement of JERSEY BOYS, which opened to rave reviews on Friday, February 6, broke the box office record - twice in a row - at the Bushnell Center, where it just completed its triumphant run on February 22, 2009. From there, the national tour will play Rochester, NY from February 25 through March 15, 2009. For the week ending February 15, JERSEY BOYS grossed $1,346,126, breaking the previous house record of $1,341,958 held by Wicked. For the week ending February 22, JERSEY BOYS grossed $1,429,211, breaking its own record from the week before.

The previous record was $1,659,826. The smash hit musical opened to rave reviews on Friday night, December 12, where it will play through January 3, 2009. The National tour of Jersey Boys, the Grammy® and Tony® Award winning Best Musical, plays its 500th performance this Friday, March 14. The tour is currently in its final week (through March 15) at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Morsani Hall, where it has been one of the most successful engagements in the theatre's history. The show set a new box office record for the week ending March 9, grossing $1,705,414, and it also set a new record for Carol Morsani Hall on Saturday night, March 8 opened to a sold-out house of 2,586 patrons.
