Love & Other Stories is an original dance narrative premiering on Sunday, September 26th at Snug Harbor Cultural Center (Staten Island). Directed, choreographed, and conceived by Ariana Andretta, the show follows four young women and their separate journeys in their quest to define love.
Originally scheduled to premiere in October 2020, but paused due to COVID, Sonia Plumb Dance Company’s newest developmental work, Penelope’s Odyssey - Phase 1, will be premiered on Friday, February 12 at 7pm in an intimate and safe performance at Hartford Stage.
The U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance will present 'Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Awareness and Prevention in the Performing Arts' 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. The free event is open to the U-M community and public, though registration is recommended through Eventbrite. It takes place in Hankinson Rehearsal Hall at the Earl V. Moore Building on North Campus (1100 Baits Drive, Ann Arbor). Free parking is available in the Moore Building lot.
