The awards were announced at the festival's Closing Gala on Sunday November 23rd celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the 10-week festival presenting 130 productions from 6 different continents.

This year the organization honored American Idol, AT&T, activists Fred Arens and Jason Duguay, and writer/director Liesel Reinhart.
