The Cleveland Play House, America's longest running regional theater, and Cleveland State University have begun discussions to partner in the reconfiguration and joint occupancy of the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare, the largest performing arts center in the country outside of New York City.

The 2nd Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) Awards were held Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Bleecker Street Theatre, located at 45 Bleecker Street, winners were announced in 33 separate categories.

On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
