Westport Country Playhouse Announces a Festival of Holiday Events
In celebration of the holiday season, Westport Country Playhouse announces a festival of eight special events, including concerts, dance, theater and films, beginning December 5 and continuing on selected Thursdays through Sundays until December 20.
Westport Country Playhouse will present a special community open house, 'Our Town, Your Playhouse,' on Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering activities for children, families, teens and adults throughout the day, including a screening of the Playhouse's 2002 production of Thornton Wilder's 'Our Town,' with Paul Newman in the role of the Stage Manager, at 7 p.m.
Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present 'Henry and Mudge,' a musical about a boy and his dog based on the best-selling series of books by Cynthia Rylant, on Sunday, November 15, 1 and 4 p.m. Recommended for grades Pre-K through 3, the show is produced by Theatreworks USA.
